"Test Piece One"Oh, to bare the burdon of being nothing more than an illegitimate son! More so than that, but to be a single boy in a family of such size! I am most thankful when I revisit the darker corners of my life and examine the path that has led me here. To think, if my father had not sold me as an apprentice to Verrochio then where might my fate have taken me?
"Test Piece Two"
I speak quite so reflectively because of a truly divine challenge that lies before me now, a piece of work that I pray will consume my attention, or as many have criticised me, my lack of attention since my time under the Duke in Milan. I fear the scale of the work may best me in my attempts to overcome it in light of my numerous other projects I have been set to work on.
For now I can only wait and see if this painting will stand the test of time.
